STORY STRUCTURE:

This film follows a chronological order because the story is patterned, although the conflict was given during the start of the story. The structure is linear.

SYNOPSIS:

Set in the beautiful island of Batanes, northern part of the Philippines, this film shows the story of Peping in search for his lost goat, Gima. Waking up finding that Gima is missing, Peping with his sister, Lita spent a day in search for the goat. As it was also their source of living, giving them milk, they hides the truth from their grandmother, hoping to find Gima before the day ends because their father will arrive the next day.

In the end of the day, they found themselves crying at the lost of their beloved goat. Through the hardships they’ve been encounter just to find that Gima is already dead, the film shows that there will always be kindness in the heart of the children.

ANALYSIS:

The film is quite boring. It’s more of talking and walking of the main characters. The story is very simple yet it has a special connotation that makes it more meaningful. Not perfect ending, as I expected, but still it’s consistent. The way the main actors act is very simple, dull sometimes.

RATING: 3
